Beautiful… Great Service from the main gate till our desired lodge, good presentation and taste of food- their chefs now exactly how to make the pots hot, had the best ice tea ever, stunning rooms, fantastic location and easy on the brain atmosphere.Booking was swift.

This game lodge is run by friendly and professional staff. Expect to eat very well!!! All the little elements that went into breakfast made up a most delicious and very special meal. Dinner was also fantastic. Chilling by the pool area, or at the Boma overlooking the watering hole is a treat.

Itaga is a small game lodge that are totally guest focused. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The food is outstanding. Breakfast and dinner is not the norm…it is serving after serving of deliciousness! We are returning in a couple of months and I will be dieting until then 🤣

The best bush holiday we have ever had. Only 2 hours drive from Johannesburg on a well maintained road. Everything about the lodge was excellent: the location, the facilities, the staff, the food, and the service. The game drives were fabulous, with lots of game on view. There are 8 rooms at the lodge which makes for individual attention from the amazing staff and no crowding.

The place is in a surrounding that is breath taking. You somehow feel at harmony with nature and it is good to have some interaction with the animals at the venue. The Game Drive was the highlight of our stay. The guide was great, and we could see the passion he had for his job and the environment, he reminded me of a teacher on a field excursion. The staff in the Kitchen were all great. Lack of Rain this Year Robbed the place of a romantically green vegetation all round.

I highly recommend Itage. The staff are amazing. The food was superb. We will return. It was a happy and relaxing break.

We spent 2 nights at Itaga but I would have preferred to stay longer. The game drives were informative and fascinating even though we didn't see the big prizes. Food at the the liodge excellent with the head chef coming to our table to hear our comments. In short I would gladly return to Itaga. SJ

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Itaga and had a wonderful experience overall. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure every detail was taken care of. The food was exceptional, with a great variety of delicious meals served throughout the stay. However, I found the rooms to be quite basic, which didn't fully match the 'luxury' aspect of the lodge. Still, the wildlife experience and excellent service made it a memorable trip!"
